I definitely partly do the solo thing to myself. I just really enjoy doing art, programming, music, etc! I feel like I'm slow with making games because I spend most of my time doing freelance work to pay the bills. :(
I enjoy doing the art and music part when it turns out well but feel like I usually am more frustrated by it than happy with it if I’m struggling. It’s almost weird for me to think of personal projects with the thought ‘I don’t have to do this solo’.
