Feeling pretty burnt out in personal game dev projects lately. Playing a lot of games instead of making them while at home. Just not feeling too inspired with my own stuff; like thinking about game genres and not feeling like anything stands out to me like 'I should make that!'
I have a few ideas here and there but nothing compelling me. Maybe it's because I feel like I'm accomplishing cool things at work that I don't need to always push the personal games as much. Idk.
I found this exact thing happening when I started at HH. Scratching that itch and making sweet things during the day freed up a lot of time that I had previously spent doing that solo. Lean into it and let your brain rest/don't force it. It's perfectly fine :)
