What are the best options for getting a cheap Mac (any kind) for simply producing Unity builds? Even 2 year old refurb Air's are like $850...

I ended up needing to get a nice Macbook for web dev freelancing stuff and just creeped on some refurb sites until I found a 2017 Pro on massive sale. Use it for everything now: Unity stuff, web dev, etc. and don't regret the investment at all.
The only thing that's really 'holding me back' is that I own a decent Windows laptop as my primary dev machine and the Mac is more of a build tool right now. I had an older Mac awhile ago that I loved, so I'm really questioning the necessity/use right now.

Yeah at the time I got mine I had a powerhouse gaming laptop that I told myself I'd still use for "serious development and games". That thing hasn't seen the light of day since the macbook came in the mail, and it haunts me daily haha
