Trying to collect everything in Tomb Raider using that dumb survival instinct ‘radar’ is the worst. I’ve never understood why games have that ‘see through walls radar ping’ mechanic. If it’s for enemies, just give me an on sight tracking marker.
And even if you do the ping mechanic, please don’t make me play hide and seek with items, yet force me to stop moving in order to use the ping. You know what makes hide and seek nearly impossible? Not moving as the seeker.
