I wish I knew what my problem with game development was. It feels like I can't just stick to a project, I have so many great prototypes but so few fully released games. I get really excited about projects and ideas and then whip them up as a proto, and then just get "bored".

What you're feeling is super common and just a part of the process man. That first percentage of a game is always the most fun. We kinda have to accept the fact that the last hurdle to launching a game isn't always enjoyable.
