Man, I'm realizing lately just how much of a liability Unity asset store packages can be for production. I just culled one out of our new project after having used it for over a year. Today they published an update that broke Mac support altogether in 2018.3. Dodged a bullet.

Most of our performance issues have been from asset store packages. Most of our compile warnings and runtime errors come from them too. It's tempting to just plug in stuff that solves a thing for us quickly, but we need to be more picky about what we integrate.

That's what happened with Super Wall Crash; I used an asset for cloud storage that was very easy to use. Came back to the project a year later for some updates and that package was not only unsupported, but was missing from store and the dev seemingly fully disappeared.
