Regardless, I'll never be that guy. But yeah... there are plenty that do and I get where they're coming from. I just don't think it's good form.

Agreed, and there are different ways to approach it. I watch YouTubers daily that talk about their 'stats' that are fine; but some, like the one I'm listening to now, say it in a way that comes off as pleading or as another 'YouTube complaint'.

Yep. But, it stands to reason that if youtube is your job/career, you can't necessarily play something unpopular with your fanbase (even if you like it/want to play it) as it could significantly impact your financial means. For us that do youtube as a hobby, it doesn't matter.

Yeah I get the reason. I was just watching someone who was very apparent and vocal in their way of expressing 'if you want more of this you need to tell me'. Most YouTubers do it but this one was real heavy handed.
