It's not about "demonizing" people who crunch, it's about helping people understand that it does more harm than good and that it's not sustainable. You can have passion for your work without working insane hours for months on end, and you'll make better stuff in the long run.
I would be real interested in discussing crunch with level-headed industry veterans at some point. I feel like without having experienced it, I have a potential incorrect view of it all and am honestly afraid to mention it for fear of blind hate coming my way.
