Can we talk about how most Monster Hunter games rely on the 'we don't teach you anything, learn it yourself' setup?
Do they actually teach it though or just expose core values for you to see? All I remember is playing that 3 port to Wii U and having to find a crafting item that I only found by going online. I've heard World is better about it.

They give you the core so you can branch off to everywhere else at your pace. I don't know if they somehow messed up 3 in wii u port but vanilla tri and world give you what you need and let you get into whatever else you want.

Certain things you could only get online in tri because those hunts werent available offline Jhen Moran and Deviljho for eg. But there was also the exclusive offline monster Cadeseus. You didn't ever NEED any of their gear but if you wanted it they encouraged you to try things

World is definitely the friendliest of the games & I'm not trying to disparage it for being so. It brought so many more people in who were failure averse and maybe broke them of that condition. An option to skip segments of the first hour in World would have been nice tho.

World is way better than 3 for easeOfUse. There are still things to learn that arent tutorialized, but like... That's why we have Google. Everyone needs different amounts of help, and if I didn't have my MH guide I'd have never gotten into MHW as much as I have (thanks
