That's odd.. maybe it's a defect with your switch? I had to return my first one because the volume was wonky and I had the same issues with responsiveness. I know they do repairs for free too!
One issue I have with the Switch is the right joycon randomly lags super bad. I’m not sure if it’s a distance thing or interference or what. It’s starting to cause me Mario deaths.

Hopefully not but yeah it’s crossed my mind. Everything I’ve seen online talks about the left joycon but I guess their signals in general are pretty weak even when they’re working correctly.

So I had the same problem and it was definitely distance/interference. Moved the dock closer to me and problem was solved

Yeah I moved it once but I’m thinking I’ll try again. It seems like if I lean forward it happens less.
