Mario Odyssey is good so far. Some parts of the game just haven't clicked with me. I'm not sure I like the semi-open world take on moon collection, and I've struggled more with controls in this Mario than in any of them. I also still think the art direction is all over the place.
It's interesting that by adding a boat load of moons to collect they've somewhat devalued them in my mind. Finding one is a lot less exciting considering some are just sitting there basically. Which makes a 3 moon bundle from a boss not 'more exciting' than another.
But maybe that's because the game so far has been fairly easy overall, including the bosses.
