    Tired of clearing highlighted searches by typing "/asdfslk”? :) Use this for example: nmap <silent> ./ :nohlsearch<CR> Quick and easy to type :) You can map it differently too. :: ::

    One of those I use daily: You can enter Insert mode with your cursor at the end of the current line by hitting A Like Append. To do the same, with cursor positioned at the beginning, hit I Best Vim tips ->

    I just switched to nvim from and lost my beloved Grep plugin (because I didn't understand :grep or :vimgrep). I used this post to get setup with ripgrep and I don't know how I lived without it.

    Vim 9 will be dedicated to Sven Guckes - Sven Guckes passed away in Berlin on February 20, 2022. I had the opportunity to meet him during one Vim meetup in Berlin. He did a lot for Vim. Rest in peace.
