Interesting, there is no definition of an assault weapon according to ATF so how do you ban what doesn't exist except in imaginations? I'm sure SCOTUS will fix it.

So you won’t be moving from Florida to Massachusetts anytime soon then? That’s more excellent news for those of us who live in Massachusetts.
-
Nobody moves to Massachusetts unless they’re forced to. ESPECIALLY, from Florida. Get over yourself.
-
Florida is the NRA Petri dish

Exactly how does this help? Serious question.
-
It doesn't, but the perception is that it does, so it helps these tyrants stay in power.
-
States rights prevail !
-
Not how it works.
-
LOL. This is exactly how it works. Healey ran on a platform to reduce gun violence, and won by a 25% margin! She's responding to the will of the voters not the swampy NRA lobbyists and gun merchants.
-
The will of the voters is not supposed to take precedent over law and the Constitution. Contrary to popular belief, this nation is not a democracy. The majority isn't supposed to be able to infringe on individual liberties.
-
Exactly. Our rights to safety trump your rights to toys.
-
I don’t think people consider them toys

The law that your office created? Why even have branches of government or legislative process if YOU a single person can just override the whole system. this is a defeat against the people of MA.

so taxachusettes hates their residents having the ability to protect themselves, color me shocked. "assault weapons" is a made up term that is literally meaningless.
-
I think less gun deaths in MA than AZ shows that we're doing just fine without your help or opinion. Shhhhh. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearm_death_rates_in_the_United_States_by_state?wprov=sfla1 …

lol wikipedia, thats adorable. yes bans on things that dont exist are so helpful. that war on drugs is doing a really good job too, huh? hell lets bring back prohibition while were at it. whats it like to being so spectacularly clueless?
-
Ha, imagine the irony of calling someone clueless, yet doesn't know how Wikipedia works. The sources are provided, and they happen to be the CDC and National Centre for Health Statistics. Plus, those stats were before the ban took place. But please, lecture me on being clueless.
-
Bud you realize anyone can go on wikipedia and change the info right? Why do you think no learning institution will let you claim it as a source?
-
You do realize if you change things on certain wiki pages and fail to provide a credible source for your claim it’s taken down within minutes right?? It’s like you dont know how the internet works or something
-
But he/she "enjoys educating people who have no clue what they're talking about", per their bio.
