One question. Why does the appeal for a strike go to the people who strikes you. Should it not go to you guys so you can review the situation. This problem seems to screw over many Youtubers, and I am trying to build my channel but I am afraid I will get striked.

If it's a Community Guidelines strike appeal, it'll be reviewed by our team. However, copyright strikes work a little differently & require the copyright owner's decision. Learn more about these strikes here: https://goo.gl/RWV5gK , https://goo.gl/MSvja5 . Hope this helps.

Ok but why would a copyright strike appeal go to the people who strikes your video down? In most cases it seems that the company just keeps the copyright strike in affect.
