Theoretically, this is a good idea. The way he's done it has multiple foundational problems, including underground stations are necessary when you have underground transport, for emergency reasons. Plus, it looks hecka expensive. Many transit systems need renos, try those instead

I don't get it. Why put people underground in public transport to make space for cars?

Likely because it's safer for speed to be increased that way, but also because a lot of cities that would most benefit from this already have the infrastructure for it.

Great idea but in case of quick emergency. What will be the actions. I think if he take London underground as a case study it will help.

I put that in a different reply. That's actually not the only foundational problem I can see with the idea off the top of my head, but a different version of this could work. I was just explaining to above why there is underground mass transit at all.
