What about the glare for drivers, though? Could that be dangerous? Other than that concern, this looks like a great idea! #UrbanHeatIsland

40k/mile for disgusting streets in two months. How many hundreds of miles for any significant impact? What % of white left after a year of tires/dirt..30%? Epic stupidity. Epic money wasting. Epic fail.

When sunlight reflects off of white, it can be blinding. Not sure if this is a great solution, but am interested in the outcome.

https://landscapearchitecturemagazine.org/2014/03/21/war-over-cool-pavements-heats-up/ … The report concluded, contrary to what federal scientists and green building promoters have been saying, light-colored roofs and pavements were not necessarily superior to dark-colored ones, environmentally speaking, and might even do more harm than good.

Just last week we were driving on white, snowy roads and my eyes still hurt. That glare is no joke.

What toxic crap is this made from? More horrid stuff that ends up in waterways and ultimately in the ocean and our food chain. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s neutral to the environment.

It's kind of cool, but the draw back are that it could blind drivers and pedestrians. Since white reflects excessive amounts of light. It would be a good idea if it's between building's where there is little to no sunlight.
