Great. I believe in the first amendment, but this gun is extreme!!!
-
I believe you’re referring to the 2nd amendment. I no longer believe in the 2nd amendment and think it needs to be repealed. Guns shouldn’t be the one product in our lives that government can’t regulate. It makes no sense.
-
On. That's your opinion. Keep up the good work!
-
Yes, that’s my opinion. I thought I’d post mine after reading yours.

I still want to put a GPS in guns and if they get near schools, or other "targets" an alarm goes off.

Let’s not forget, the guns in production at the time the Amendment was written, were basically pea-shooters compared to these new high powered assault rifles.

US elected officials should put themselves in the mind and the shoes of a mass shooting's victim's family or the victim themselves and ask themselves what can I do to prevent the next one? Unless something isn't done there WILL be a next one in the US

If everyone had a gun then if someone tried to shoot somewhere they would be shot. You never hear a shooting on Arizona. Why? Because they all have guns. With gun control only people who shouldn't get guns get them
-
By that logic, lets allow every country to have a nuclear weapon. If every country had a nuclear weapon, then we should feel comfortable there will never be nuclear war, right? SMDH.
-
Not really nuclear weapons are WAY more dangerous, that os a completely different subject
-
Not really. Your premise is that broad ownership of weapons is a deterrent. When applied on a smaller scale (people->handguns) or larger scale (countries->nuclear weapons), it doesn't hold water. In both cases, you're just increasing the odds that something will happen.
-
No his premise is that an armed society is s polite society. Anyway the second amendment is about keeping the government in check not preventing crime.

This is a good article overall, but I’m so sick of this false equivalency that everyone thinks they have to make. “...How hard it is to talk to Americans -- on either side of the political divide -- about the gun issue.” The 2 sides aren’t the same. Both are not the problem.
-
One side, Republicans, refuses to accept ANY gun regulation and rolls them back at every opportunity, including last year when Trump made it easy for mentally ill to buy guns. The other side timidly begs for crumbs on the issue. They’re not equivalent. At all.
