Definitely more appealing (now with TBS/TNT which was needed) . But for $45/mo in a month, it's still not worth it. Cable TV is $55 and has Comedy Central, and a few others w/ less technical hurdles.

Where can you get live (local) sports in HD with a DVR for $55/mo? At $35/40, YouTubeTV is killin it right now.

Well, I have a 7-day free trial, so if it's good enough (seems like it so far), I'll cancel my TV channels from cable and my Tivo then. Quality is actually surprisingly good.

I signed up for it after the World Series and haven’t looked back. Cancelled my cable (and bumped up my internet speeds) and am saving about $100/mo. While the Turner channels were missed, ESPN and my local sports channels made up for it.

I signed up for the trial and left it running for at least an hour. No problems at all. Finally someone who did this right. Thanks. I think I'll cancel my Tivo and cable TV sub now. This is actually nice

Cap it off with the ability to view on any device and native applications on smart TV's and it's a winner. Can't beat all that for $35/mo. Sorry, I feel like an advertisement. lol

I agree. If I cancel Tivo at $15/mo, it's only $20 a month which is about what I was paying for antenna channels. I'm glad you said something. The DVR works so much better than Vue and definitely better than Sling.

but then they'd have to read past a bunch of stuff to get the quality, but it's there if you look for it,
