This will hurt the eyes of drivers in sunny days ”white surfaces + light= high brightness”, which might cause more car accidents.

I see several potential problems with this. Is adherence between wheels and road unaffected? And rolling noise? In sunny days, won't this be too bright for drivers? What about at night, with headlights on? What color will road marks be in?

I mean, in theory the idea has its merits. But if some of these potential problems actually occurs, and given the cost, is it really worth it?

Maybe you might reduce overheating, but there are other issues that may arise. eg. the white will give more glare, slightly blinding drivers, what abt car accidents and blood stains, also the black absorbs the heat but the white will scatter it...nearby to buildings and homes.pic.twitter.com/5zL8S5oBZD

I think the brightness won’t be a big problema cause most of the American cars have blue windows and those stop the brightness. The road aderence can be afected depending the tipe of coating. With the blood question, red always look good on white.

An idea like this could reduce the amount of wattage needed to light a city. Less light pollution would be the byproduct.
