        I hope the cable is highly heat resistant and chafe/cut resistant! The wall bracket would be to be very strong and mounted to something very strong and reliable, else their salvation could go very wrong!

        Hmm, kinda cool, but requires driving an anchor point - in your office - prior to a fire ever occurring. How many feet can you repel? Only tested to 260 lbs?

        WIth crumbling buildings in a fire or like 9/11, the "hook" wouldnt be stable.
