Nah, just the press is freaking out.

Obviously you didn't read the article. It's been law that you can't pump your own gas for years. Now you can again
-
I will add that I get it that they might not be "freaking out" but I'm sure it's bizarre
-
I find it strange not pumping my own gas when visiting but when it's 20 degrees out, thumbs up.
-
I was completely caught off guard while visiting. Thought it was really weird

We were reading responses to this yesterday. Any sane entrepreneur would open a string of full-serve gas stations in Oregon, and serve the half of the population that is terrified of gas pumps.

No. No we are not. Seriously. Just the media is freaking out.

Exactly. I heard about this months ago and was like "OK, cool. Makes sense since it's in rural areas," and then forgot about it. Most Oregonians I know have no issues pumping their own gas when we travel out of state. I mean, it's the law, right? ;)

I had no idea there was ANY state still not pumping their own. Shocking! Come on, Oregonians... YOU CAN DO IT!!!

(eyeroll) No we're not. Most of us aren't even going to be affected by this.
