I had the “same day effect” happen last week and it was almost disturbing. Placed an order at about 10am and had it on the doorstep at 3pm. Wacky wacky craziness! In a good way of course.

I’m a Prime member but I can guarantee this won’t be happening where I live. I remember fondly a time when I placed my order on a Tues. & got it before week’s end. Not this yr. Prime 2-day shipping=7-day shipping. Not happy.

Now it's just whenever they get around to delivering it. Prime pretty much means nothing now.
-
I agree and after several yrs of paying for it I will not be renewing.

@amazon uses sweatshop labor practices to accomplish this, similar to the modern day slavery seen in Asia today. I'm not excited about putting American workers under those conditionshttp://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/02/mac-mcclelland-free-online-shipping-warehouses-labor/ …Thanks. That’s more people worked to death on their assembly lines. Nothing ‘sweet’ about it. Their working condition are horrendous, and this will make it even worse.http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/amazon-workers-working-hours-weeks-conditions-targets-online-shopping-delivery-a8079111.html …
