Someone reverse engineered the umbrella - and it totally works.pic.twitter.com/pxFG7smdFK

    Reverse engineered umbrella
The 'KAZbrella' opens and closes inside out, making it easier to use and more efficient overall.

Don’t thinkkkk that’s what reverse engineering is, but still cool.

I was thinking the exact same thing...this is not reverse engineering

PSA: This is not what "reverse-engineering" means. "Reverse engineering" is if I show you an umbrella and describe how it works, then you go and build one on your own. This is a neat innovation in umbrella tech, but a reverse umbrella was not reverse-engineered.

Nice place for mildew to grow with the water on the INSIDE of the umbrella???

Surely it grows on the outside when it’s wrapped around itself when closed? I dry mine out opened up anyway.

So what do you do with an umbrella full of water in your car? Hold it upright until your destination?

Same you do with a normal umbrella duh. A normal one is also wet and contains aproximately the same amout of water since the surface is the same. Do you care about a few drops of water in your trunk?

My umbrella has never turned into a bucket while I've closed it. That's sort of the one of the main selling points of an umbrella.

Yes. Just that it allways stayed dry inside the bucket and is wet all around. It makes everything wet that it comes into contact with. You're fine with that, if it drops and drools everywhere but if it forms a bucket and spills little to nothing thats unacceptable. Fuck logic

Son, if you're this angry about a tweet about an umbrella, you and logic parted ways long ago.

Isn't that acting like a bucket when you close it? Capturing all of the water inside?
