Really @Twitter?
It is ... a lot. I’m starting to wonder if they can even solve that problem. And if they can’t, why are we still here?
Right!
Twitter isn’t supposed to be a safe space, nor is the check mark supposed to be anything more than verification that the account belongs to the person claiming it. It doesn’t have to be difficult!
I’m not defending this decision by any stretch of the imagination, but doesn’t it just mean that this nazi is in fact the nazi who they say they are?
I don't see the problem though. At least we know that they're not Russian agents or something and anything they say on Twitter is now validated that it came from them. I hate KKK and these people, but if they do anything in public, at least you know it actually is them...
The blue check mark doesn’t mean Twitter agrees with or promotes anything. Just that the account is real and that they are who they say they are. At least you know that these are the real assholes not bots.
been saying it for Years… there is nothing @Twitter can’t F up… 2nd only to #Apple in tone deafness
Twitter responded to Kessler's verification
by announcing they would pause the current verification process and review its procedures. ⬇︎https://twitter.com/mashable/status/929481389728256001 …
Twitter losing mindshare daily
Blue checks trigger snowflakes?? What DOESN’T trigger them?? Boo!!!
Don't complain. They won't take your checkmark away for being an online rag.
Not due to every other liberal nutcase actually believing what they say is gospel because they're Verified™, but because some people they don't like are. Alas, I rather know who are the alleged "nazis" instead of being fooled by con artists.
