Sous vide is the best way to cook meat. But damn, you obviously need to seer steak for 60 sec before eating.. cast iron pan. And it is not 'boiling in a bag!' Vacuum sealed at temps far lower. Also much cheaper than this unit.

Not only does the steak look gross, I don't like cooking in plastic. Chemicals leach out into the food. I prefer to cook the traditional way, and if I wanted things to cook while I'm doing other things, I'll use a crock pot. We have enough chemicals in our daily lives as it is.
