This suitcase is the perfect travel companion.pic.twitter.com/TpeDPR8xVh

    Smart suitcase
'Travelmate' is your new best friend. It can follow you wherever you go, whether it's vertical or horizontal. It can also charge your phone and uses AI to avoid bumping into objects.

Perfect for those of us who happen to own an airport and don’t allow anyone else to use it AND are never in a hurry - can this thing keep up or dodge other travellers?

Great luggage until you get to the airport and TSA x-rays it and see wires on the x-ray then all hell breaks loose.

Total trip-hazard. You’d get sued the first time somebody fell because they were in the way or weren’t watching where they were going. 🤔

Neat tech, but agree w/ many comments - not practical in real life, even for those who need it. Imagine crowded airport where everyone has one? Security implications? Ex of tech seeking new uses?

Could really be helpful to my independent yet disabled friends who use canes or wheelchairs. Pulling a suitcase is always tricky for them!

Agree that could be useful - though airports will normally transport passengers with impaired mobility anyway and these might not be so useful on the way to the airport where uneven surfaces are more of a problem

Good point about the uneven surfaces. Yes, airports can be helpful to those with mobility issues, but there is often a lot of waiting for that help. :/ My friends are active ppl would love to not need the help, I think.
