Scientists finally discovered why your shoelaces always come untiedpic.twitter.com/Xs3MQuqOAE

    Why shoelaces untie
Mechanical engineers at UC Berkeley conducted a study to observe why shoelaces always come untied and hope it leads to understanding why other knots, like DNA, also unravel under dynamic forces.

My shoelaces never get untied. After the bow is tied, apply two hard sharp tugs to the bow loops. 35 years, never failed..
