Did you notice that they say "Ana" when they want to say I??

I think he picked up a mix of Greek, Arabic, and other Middle Eastern dialects..
-
Lets ask him? Hello
@Dedalvs
-
No, I’m afraid. In subject position, it’s actually “anha” (with an audible “h”); anything else is a mispronunciation…
-
Also GRRM created that word. From the books: Khalakka dothrae mr’anha “A prince rides inside me”. I just incorporated it…
-
Aside from the words that come directly from the books, none of the others come from existing languages; any similarities are incidental.
-
I’m a big fan of the Arabic language, though! I studied it for a year while I was in college. :)
-
Thank you David! You can imagine my reaction when I heard "anha" and thought it's "Ana"! Brilliant work from you in GoT

His Dothraki for "I'm" sounds very much like its Arabic equivalent

Wow, surprised to know this. I thought it was a native language.
