Sadly there's no money in that.

I love the idea. But in America if you're saving billions, someone is not marking billions.
-
Boom!

money is in the maintenance and not the cure.

Is this the one that was invented by the Romans??
-
No. The Romans used slaked-lime and volcanic ash. These folks are using Portland Cement and a bacterial additive.

But you are filling the concrete with bacteria. Wouldn't it be a health hazard?

I invented designed and authored the ability to clean air and cycle cash with investment from the "starter demand to the total design"

If this doesn’t lower the “structural soundness” of the concrete why not switch already. That spray, will be amazing if perfected

Dude! Illinois needs this first and I don't even live there but that state is just THAT wrecked. They will never afford it though.

I am skeptical and have many questions. Why do the bacteria cease to reproduce once activated? What type of bacteria are you using?
-
It might not stop growing while room and material is available for growth. Could the expansion cause cracking like ASR?
-
Exactly, that was another question I had about expansion associated with growth. Suppose the bacteria mutates? Many questions.
-
It would be an awesome product; assuming the expansion could be controlled AND it's commercially viable
-
I agree. I wonder how the product responds to friction and pressure, extreme temperatures, sodium chloride?
-
A lot of question. I wonder if they have run ASTM C 494 on it yet.
-
Results of those standards would answer questions w/ regards to strength and temp change. Love to see Hendrik Jonkers' bioconcrete research.
-
I did a GoogleScholar search and couldn't find any research paper. The only thing I can find was the 3 patents which don't show results.
