CO2 is no match against this carbon machinepic.twitter.com/FKKMrQZqeA

    Carbon sucking machine
'Climeworks' is a modular system that uses fans to suck in CO2 from the air into a filter in an attempt to reduce carbon emissions in the surrounding area.

If that thing doesn't run on renewables, how much energy does it take to capture the carbon?

So you capture CO2 and deliver it to a green house to grow plants? Why not just skip the first step and grow plants?

CO2 is a greenhouse gas that we are putting into the atmosphere in excess. Plants convert CO2 to Oxygen which we breathe 🌿🌬

...To a green house that plants use to grow and create oxygen. Why not just plant trees and not build the machine?

Oh I see! My idea is that the CO2 that they're collecting would have beenlet off into the atmosphere, too high for plants toget to naturally

The big crane that runs on diesel puts out carbon monoxide and dioxide could saturate one filter in an hour. Lol. Tax dollars wasted?

Plant trees. Costs a hell of a lot less, and makes more sense. CO2 isn't a pollutant, BTW.
