        That's daytime on the moon. You can't see the stars during the day because the stars are small and dark. Same on earth

        The stars are so dark compared to the sun that you can't see both. Same as when you're outside during the day trying...

        If they were on the dark side of the moon (Moon's night), then the stars are visible, same as on earth
