@mashable Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) Cable Internet, is also a form of 'Fibre To The Node (FTTN) too & throughput is in excess of 100Mbps.. -
@mashable It isn't a first for Australia to have dedicated satellites for Internet either, as some ISPs already have Satellites in use.. -
@mashable BTW: There are added costs with FTTP too -- it's not just running fibre to premises -- They also need to purchase end-user NTUs..
