Yeah and then you have an accident and the cat is a litteral projectile that will 100% die, or the cat isn't used to the car and will just run around and distract the driver... That's why carriers exist, to prevent risk, not to restrain the cat's "perfect view of the roadtrip".

Cats are great but unfortunately they don't comprehend the importance of not distracting the driver. Probably best to use a carrier.
