It's $250 less than the XS. Not $150.

First, it’s $250 difference, not $150. And they did say the differences. Main are the case materials and OLED screen versus LCD. The LCD screen on the R also cause larger (uglier) bezels because of technology limitations.

I'm still on the 6s+ and could only see buying the Xr. The way they framed each of the devices was weird, even weirder than last year.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i think author named all the differences. For me for example dbl lens camera is important for sport photos. Most probably I'd give 150$ more for it

Agree somewhat. I was hoping
@Apple would make the effort to reinvent mobile somewhat. Meaning, I was hoping for something worthy of my money. Didn’t see it. Samsung however hopefully delivers in Jan with the foldable Galaxy F or whatever they call it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@FutureBoy I’m going for the Xr I think you should also just not because of cost. I think older iPhone 6S
owners is the demographic @Apple is going for.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
