Pretty sure it doesn’t “read your mind”, it looks like it picks up the subtle movements of that kind of pre-vocalisation we do when speaking in our own head.

Yeah, it’s called “subvocalization”. It taps into the neuromuscular transmitters created at the jaw. The signals stem from your mind... if it can convert it into commands, I’m happy! This is pretty amazing. Here’s a good article from
