        Stirring 50,000 cups only adds 10c to the electricity bill. It's definitely better than wooden stirrers.

        Which is great. It's something I do too. I commend you for that. But human beings are creatures of habit, they always look for the easy way out (ie. Non renewable products). We can't expect the entire general public to take a big leap like that. We must take small steps first.

        Obviously short term, they're probably worse than non renewable products. However, once you incorporate these products into your daily life, the positives outweigh the negatives and they become much better for the environment.
