CO2 is no match against this carbon machinepic.twitter.com/WJ3SeIpvWo

    Carbon sucking machine
'Climeworks' is a modular system that uses fans to suck in CO2 from the air into a filter in an attempt to reduce carbon emissions in the surrounding area.

Yes, in a sense. It uses waste heat

Unclear how you run forty 20hp (that’s 14 kilowatts, each) electric fans on “waste heat” but I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

You're right. I see now on their site that it uses 'mostly waste heat' (at 100 C) 'in addition to electricity' (but amount not stated). Be good to know. But I don't see why it couldn't site a stack near a CSP project for both 100 C waste heat n electricity.

'in an attempt to' ??? Climeworks' technology does work. (Climeworks is the company name, not 'a modular system')
