I've a question. Is the stiffening and softening chemistry safe for hobbyists? Imagine unemployed people making custom clothes. I can see the RF/laser/etc custom fitting industry lobbyists prepping to deny this tech to casual users by causing high acquisition/licensing costs.

While I applaud the tech (which seems it's borrowing from automotive mfr robot assembly lines), this likely will put 5,000,000 garment workers out of jobs unless the savings and gov efforts can send them to schools to retool themselves.
