Good news, everybody!

Wrong scientist
-
I know. I just couldn't help myself. I used to grandly enter my own lab and tell that to the students, postdocs, and technicians.

Lmao neat

I for one welcome our new robot overlords, and wish them an efficient and fast human extermination.

Don't you people recognize that the majority of the world's problems stem from the fact that we can't undiscover things? Whoa...
-
No, the majority of world problems stem from the fact that people are assholes to eachother and in-group out-group rationality.

I would caution any and all against joining the United Stair Climbers and Log Jumpers Union if seeking long term employment.

I find this to be terrifying knowing there are evil minds out there imagining how to use this technology in war.
-
To be fair, if they're using robots for war instead of innocent humans, war is gonna be a lot less bloody.

No I mean robot on robot specifically
-
I agree that robot or robot would obviously be less harmful to humans. I have trouble believing that would actually happen. Sadly, I believe it’s more likely they’d be used to inflict maximum carnage.
-
Yeah I know, I'm just trying to be a bit more hopeful for the future. Imagine how much better it would be if instead of unnecessary bloodshed, war were about a dick measuring contest between countries to determine who has the better robots.
-
I like your optimism. Let’s hope it goes that way and not the other. Seen the new Jurassic movie yet? There’s a twist on weapons of war for you!
