Or, y'know, just go with the classic Greasy Spoon Cafe way of doing things that's tried and tested since the 20s? ;)pic.twitter.com/roIXUiDEYp

Using a machine to do it to a preset level that the machine can't properly control is wrong. I'm more likely to find an alternative to my stirring stick or my spoon than I am to use this.

Stirring is essentially, personal. You can stir it a little, stir it a lot, stir it until your drink is cold or just stir in a little bit of cream or topping. You could want some cream on top but not all, you could stir in ALL the toppings instead of having a crunchy layer.

The problem with that is, I use a plastic spoon to stir my hot chocolate and my mocha, to get the whipped cream to the desired level. This device just spins your drink. How do you tell it to stop, how do you know when you want it to not spin.

I can see these being used in @Starbucks and @7eleven. Japan would be totally all over this. The problem with spoons is someone still has to wash them and put them out. Cost of electricity + soap + water+ labor. Open your minds people.

Well done, Scott. But perhaps you are not aware of these? They are great! Totally reusable, occupy very little space, last 100s of years, use NO electricity. Best of all, they really get that sugar stirred in.pic.twitter.com/2E7RA0X3D3

Use some spoon! How can it be eco friendly if it needs some kind of energy (unless it’s solar powered). Anyway useless device!
