There is no federal “day off” for pride months. Veterans are commonly celebrated in our culture in general. There is also Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Nobody said we can’t celebrate both, nobody said one is more important. Equality is important and we are still fighting.

I think most people would agree that soldiers are fighting for the freedom of LGBT people so that they may pursue equal rights and equality. I have respect. My entire family is in the military, “son.”
