        You can literally hold the top of a Starbucks cup and do the exact same thing. Or buy a stainless steel straw and travel with it.

        A non electric version with some form of geared foot pump might work. But replacing a wooden stick with an electric solution doesn’t seem that environmentally friendly.

        Nothing like a massively over engineered solution to a problem that already has simpler solutions to it but not enough people care for them to be implemented. Just ban single use plastics. There’s paper/cardboard based straws already available.
