    Approximately every 6 weeks a new article comes out about how parents are absolutely screwed and the bottom has dropped out and all hope is lost and women specifically are being dehydrated into fruit leather versions of themselves and there continues to be zero political urgency

    VICTORY! It appears Evergy announced a moratorium literally in the middle of our press conference today calling for this outcome, and 8 days after our op-ed in the KC Star. Keep fighting for just outcomes, folks!

    We know these are tough times for so many people in our communities. We have suspended disconnections for nonpayment through March 1 as a result of the pandemic, winter season and upcoming changes to our customer billing systems.

    This is big big news y'all - grateful to my colleagues and so many partners and volunteers who have been working hard in these communities to make this happen!

    What a week! New York, Nevada, Seattle, Oakland and San Jose took big steps to phase out gas and accelerate a transition to clean climate-friendly homes and buildings. 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
