It is unpatriotic not to pay taxes. Anyone who avoids paying taxes is not smart or clever, they are unpatriotic and prove by their actions that they care more for themselves than anyone else. Poor people think if we tax the rich they will leave the USA.

My state voted down a wealth tax cuz people thought if they tax the wealthy they'll tax me next w/o realizing average people pay WAY more in taxes via taxes on goods and services.

Washingtonians didn't want a wealth tax bc they thought the rich would tax jobs away and move. But they're rich because they took jobs off shore already. It's a rigged system. Paying taxes is patriotic.

The biggest prize for the rich, was in 1971, when the Gold Standard was completely abandoned. This allowed unlimited creation of debt based fiat currency. This required inflation [loss in value of the currency] massive levels of debt which transfers money to the rich.
