Seems like we keep moving backwards. This is exactly why Obamacare was a terrible idea. It was just regulations which can easily change depending on who is elected. Single payer is much harder to dismantle than band-aids on a broken system.

Actually, here we why will never get there without a revolution: The GOP and most of Dems use the treasury to assure their persistent power. They dish it out to the corps and elite knowing that it will cycle back to them. They have no intention of "wasting" that money on us.
