The first American Revolution was a campaign by American elites to supplant British elites and they enlisted the poor to do their fighting. The second American Revolution requires the poor take power back from the elites.

And especially from within our government. The problem we have to address within our own government is that it was built upon distrust, lies, & the oppression of indigenous people, black people, other marginalized groups & women. The very foundation of it, lacks integrity. 1/2

Until we actually recognize that racism, sexism, xenophobia & bigotry are systematic & that the system is designed that way, Not broken, but designed that way, only then can we begin to transform that system & yes we have to acknowledge our own part in all of it & transform. 2/2
