4/ Anyone who thinks America is “all good,” sadly has it wrong. But anyone who thinks America is “all bad” has it wrong as well. We need to hold the realization of both. We in our time, like others before us, are called upon to make a choice for “the angels of our better nature.”

It is possible for us to go extinct from our own actions, even if we aren't all bad. It isn't a case of absolutes. We just have to fail to course correct long enough to reach a point of no return. Even good people die by self-destructive actions.
