We also need to add at least two seats to the Court.

Too bad even "progressive" justices often have terrible voting records. Perhaps the Supreme Court itself is an outdated institution.

We need term limits on those seats. The rules were put in place at a time when the average lifespan was far shorter than today. We need electoral reform and we need it now.

A legitimate question.

I’ve been trying to understand conservative thinking lately. What are they trying to conserve? Tradition, regardless of new information? In practice, the net result (stagnation) is misaligned with people’s natural inclination to continuously improve things.

High-minded conservatives want to conserve what’s fundamentally true, limit the scope of govt, stress personal accountability etc. I totally respect that; there’s a yin/yang between conservative & liberal that works. But Trump & his ilk are not conservative; they are neo-fascist.

Ive seen enough to know that both sides work for the same interests, they just frame how they present it to the public as if its otherwise. Were given an illusion of having them work for us,but @ the end of the day, both parties do what is best for their backers, not their voters.

I concur.
