I don’t think I stumbled. My Whole Health plan was the best one out there. I thought a sliding scale was fine ‘til Covid. But it’s not just the funding, it’s also how healthcare is handled that matters. If we continue to be so tilted towards Big Pharma, we’ll still be in trouble.

Medicare for All is better. Glad you're on board now. - a lot of the cost savings come from the reduction in bureaucracy in a single payer system. - Universal programs last longer. Programs used by the poor and middle class (like a public option) are often gradually defunded.
