Tell that to the author Tim Scott who was a victim of police racial profiling. Per his speech, that is what this is about. DEMs can't let a Republican effort pass. It had nothing to do with the content of the legislation it was the "who" that mattered. No discussion or debate?
That is NOT all this is about. It’s about chokeholds, qualified immunity, no-knock warrants and more.

If it was more, why no debate or discussion? Why no amendments to the Bill? Because the Democrats did not want any credit going to Republicans for starting this important process. We all hope for the best with as much good language and good points as possible.
